Each bed will come with four 4 1/2-7" rounded end posts, two 3-5" headboard rails and footboard rails, two 3-5" side rails, five 3-6" headboard rung/spindles, and four 2" rough cut lumber slats to support your mattress and box spring. The inside of this bed frame will fit a standard queen size mattress. The outside dimensions will be 65-78" wide, 85-100" long and weigh approximately 300 lbs. All log furniture is subject to the natural process of checking or splitting. Checking happens as wood releases moisture. It is the usual result of wood seasoning and doesn't compromise strength.
